Addiction destroys our community and families. Louisiana overdose rate is 37% above the national average in the US. Many people are trapped in the cycle with little hope of recovery. However, many people do recover and are able to repair the damage done to themselves and their family. Day One Foundations' number one objective is to make the Lafayette recovery community stronger through our club house/outreach center. Over time we plan to implement various programs to assist individuals as we assess the need in the community.​

Our Initiatives

Club House (The DOC)​

The D.O.C (Day One Club) is the home to several 12 step and other recovery groups to meet. It has a membership accessed recreation room, lounge, children's playroom, & computer lab. It sells refreshments, snacks, coffee, literature, and other merchandise. It is the base for future programs to assist individuals to succeed in recovery. The D.O.C. hosts events for awareness and personal growth.​
